314- Let it Snow Card
I have been wanting to use up my extra Baha Breeze DSP and this was a great way to do it. This layout is from this week's splitcoast layout challenge. I've seen quite a few cards on here recently that have light colours set on black and I just adore the effect- I have a feeling I will be doing this a lot in the near future.
I decided to use glossy white paper for the image to give it a bit more shine. I always love sponging on a clear embossed image- when the image starts popping up it just gives me so much joy- seriously it does!
I'm a stamper at heart who always loves to use all of my stamps but there are times when it is so nice to use your designer series papers to create beautiful backgrounds on your cards. It also helps save time if you want to make a card quickly.
Recipe:
Stamps: Big on Christmas
Paper: Basic Black, Baha Breeze DSP, Glossy White
Ink: Baha Breeze
Accessories: Clear Embossing, pretties kit, sponges, crystal effects

313- Parisian Christmas Card
I wanted to make yet another Christmas card in non-traditional colours. When I saw this week's mojo monday 109 challenge I knew that I wanted to use a striped DSP on the bottom. I really love this one from Parisian Summer DSP so built the card around that. Hope you like it!

312- Circle Santa Card
I used the layout of MOJO107 as inspiration for this card. I wanted to make a very traditional Christmas card with Santa in red white and black.
I used my versamarker on the belt buckle with gold embossing powder to give it some shine. I adore the versamarker- it's great for these little details. I also used dazzling diamonds on the the snowflakes and ground to give it some more pizzazz.
This was my first time using this petal embossing folder to do the dry embossing on the sides- how great is looking is that!? I love it!
I'm not sure if you have noticed but my brads recently have been nicely lined up- I finely learned a trick to get them perfectly aligned. You use your mat pack and the hole template with a paper piercer- I can't believe it took me so long to learn this technique!
Recipe:
Stamps: Jolliest Time of the Year
Paper: Real red, basic black, whisper white, real red DSP
Ink: Real red, basic black, pretty in pink
Accessories: Circle scissors plus, mat pack, vintage brads, versamark, gold embossing, dazzling diamonds, Big Shot, Petals a Plenty textured impressions folder

Scrapbook
I'm back from PEI and back working on my scrapbook. This page is adjacent to another that I've done so I wanted to mirror it somewhat. I dry embossed the turquoise centre piece just to give it some texture. I decided not to use any pink cardstock because I wanted the pink focus to be the bougainvillea in the picture.

Card Swap
Here are the final two cards from the card swap. If you would like to participate in the next swap which is a Holiday Card swap please email me.
This card was made by Tali Douglas. It is a great punch art card- I think it is an amazing example for anyone who is interested in creating a punch art card for the first time but isn't sure if they have enough punches. This image was created using only one punch- how great is that?!
This second card was made by Sheila Kerz. I love so many things about this card- the use of the soft subtles, the background embossing, and the circus circle stamps (definitely on my must have list!).

Card Swap
Here are two more of the cards from the last amazing swap from my group. These swaps are a great way of stocking up on cards- especially those that use products that you don't own and are different that what you would normally like. Here are two more of the cards from the last amazing swap from my group. These swaps are a great way of stocking up on cards- especially those that use products that you don't own and may be different than your regular stamping style. It's always great to have a lot of variety in our card boxes
This great card was made by Fiona MacAlpine. Fiona always makes beautiful cards using Pun Fun. I love the addition of the flower with rhinestone brad from the pretties kit. I also love that the image is on a diamond layer- I always like when the usual layouts are switched up
This card was made by Simcha Snell. I was really excited to get it- I don't have any other samples using this great stamp from the Music Expressions set. It is a perfect stamp to watercolour with an aquapainter or your blender pen.

Card Swap
Here are two more examples from the last card swap with my group. I am currently organizing a Christmas swap- please email me if you are interested
This first card was made by Katrina MacAlpine. It uses one of my favorite Designer Series Papers- Pink Flamingo. I also adore the Cheers to You stamp set. It is such a beautiful bright card- I especially love that she used Crystal Effects on all of the fruit to make them nice and shiny.
This card was made by Julie Weisflock. It is such a fantastic blank card for the fall- she used the oval punches to leave a space to add a sentiment. Warm words or short and sweet would look great here

Card Swap
Every 3 months I organize a card swap with the enormously talented stampers in my group. Here are two card samples from my most recent swap.
This first one was done by Marni Shelson. I love the detail that she did at the bottom with the Pocket Silhouettes stamp. I also love the ripping detail- I really have to start ripping more! I definitely will be casing this layout
This second card was made by Katrina MacAlpine. You really have to see this card in person to get the full effect. She used her stamp a ma jig to clear emboss the image over the Chocolate Chip ink. It makes the trees shiny and beautiful- I love this card. And it is that elusive card we all strive to make- a male appropriate card!

307- Hippo New Baby Card
I made this card for a friend of mine who just announced that she is pregnant. I used the layout from Mojo Monday MOJO106. Unfortunately I didn't have any congratulations stamps that fit into my square punch so I used the new baby stamp from functational phrases
This card is based on a previous trishutter that I made- I just loved the colour combination for a new baby. I sponged the cardstock with the hippo in saffron to soften the image.
Recipe:
Stamps: Pun Fun, Functional Phrases
Paper: Whisper White, Delicate dots DSP
Ink: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Slot punch, 5/8" so saffron grosgrain ribbon, square punches, sponges
