52- Weekly Splitcoast Challenges
I made these two cards for the weekly splitcoast challenges. The first is the layered ribbon challenge- it is just a few different ribbons layered together. I like how it turned out- just nice and simple with the baroque set.
The second card was tougher- the colour combo this week was Real Red, Glorious Green and Night of Navy- not my ideal colour combo. Here is how it turned out- I had to add some gold accents. All and all ok but not my favorite. I hope the colour combo is better this week!

48- Challenge Card
Sheila told me about a new type of challenge from Splitcoast. You look at the cards of a profiled stamper and you copy their card but you are supposed to make 2 changes. Well I made more than that but I like my finish product! Plus it's my first time sponging and I have to say I think it turned out quite well!
Here is the card I copied:

45- Mother's Day Cards
The first card combines two of the technique challenges from splitcoaststampers this week. This is the layout challenge and the colour challenge. It took me a while to figure out what stamps to use with the layout but I really wanted a mother's day card so here it is. It also gave me a chance to use this alphabet set for the first time.
The second card is another citrusy Mother's day card- I just think they are fresh and clean spring colours.
The third one is a scallop dahlia- I love me a dahlia!!
