309- Raspberry Floral Card

I made this full size card (8.5"x5.5") for a coworker. I used the layout from the splitcoaststampers layout challenge SC250. I love this raspberry tart DSP- it gives such a nice background effect.

Recipe:

Stamps: Embrace Life

Paper: Raspberry Tart DSP, Rose Red, Cameo Coral, Whisper White

Ink: Rose Red

Accessories: Photo corners punch

Scrapbook

I'm back from PEI and back working on my scrapbook. This page is adjacent to another that I've done so I wanted to mirror it somewhat. I dry embossed the turquoise centre piece just to give it some texture. I decided not to use any pink cardstock because I wanted the pink focus to be the bougainvillea in the picture.

This layout was from a Splitcoast Sketch Challenge. I really like the finished product- I'm excited to try more of these layout challenges as I work on this scrapbook.

Scrapbook

Here is the newest page from my scrapbook- pictures of the Erechtheion on the Acropolis. Yet again I know that all I have done is some layering- I haven't used any fun techniques. I am having a huge problem cutting down pictures- it was such an amazing trip and experience. But I am really going to try so I can post some fun layouts and techniques.

Scrapbook

And for week 2 I have done a 2 page layout! I have to keep on track with this as it is a Christmas gift for my mother. My goal is to complete an entire scrapbook using only Stampin' Up! products.

I decided to keep these pages very simple and clean because I just wanted to highlight these amazing pieces that I saw in the National Museum in Athens. Just the pictures layered on the colours I'm using in the scrapbook. I will try more techniques on future pages but I like the simplicity of these pages.
