254- Stitched Exotics Celebrate Card

This is a twist on a previous card that I've done. I love the look of the vellum over the images- it really softens it even though you can still tell that the colours underneath are bright and vibrant. I can't believe how long it has taken me to discover Summer Sun- love it!

I am really going to miss this stamp set- it is so great to make backgrounds with. Make sure to get yours before it retires at the end of the month- just click here to go to online ordering.

Recipe:

Stamps: Stitched exotics, wonderful words

Paper: Perfect plum, whisper white, vellum

Ink: Regal rose, tempting turquoise, summer sun, certainly celery

Accessories: Eyelet border punch, vintage brads, brad punch, silver embossing

199- Stitched Birthday

I had to make a full size birthday card for a coworker. Her birthday is on Valentine's and she is against all things red and pink for the day. It was also a great excuse to use my stitched exotics set because I don't use it nearly enough

Recipe:

Stamps: Stitched exotics

Paper: Taken with teal, basic black, whisper white

Ink: Basic black, taken with teal

Accessories: 1/4" basic black ribbon, ticket corner

97- Emboss Resist Thank You

This time I decided to emboss resist on white paper and then sponge on some colour so only the embossed images pop out. This is probably my favorite way of doing it because the colour isn't as thick as when you use the brayer. I also wanted to use the three greens from Bold Brights since I very rarely use them

Recipe:

Stamp Sets: En Francais, Much Appreciated, Stitched Exotics

Ink: Gable Green, Glorious Green

Paper: Whisper White, Glorious Green

Accessories: Ticket corner punch, clear embossing, dimensionals

80- Award Winning Card

I went to a demonstrator night on Monday where we each had to bring one card for everyone to make. The criteria were that the card had to be demonstratable to clients and contain at least one WOW factor. I asked some friends which of my cards I should make and they suggested this one. And I WON!!! Best card for being most demonstratable...and pretty! I won a wheel and a case for my wheels- so exciting!!
