199- Stitched Birthday

I had to make a full size birthday card for a coworker. Her birthday is on Valentine's and she is against all things red and pink for the day. It was also a great excuse to use my stitched exotics set because I don't use it nearly enough

Ink: Basic black, taken with teal

Accessories: 1/4" basic black ribbon, ticket corner

198- Cupcake Birthday

This is a card that I made for a swap that I am in- I wanted a fast fun card that used Tangerine Tango because I really haven't used that colour nearly enough

Recipe:

Stamps: Party Hearty

Paper: Tangerine Tango, pacific point, kiwi kiss, whisper white

Ink: Tangerine tango, kiwi kiss, pacific blue

Accessories: Corner rounder, scallop edge punch, striped pacific point grosgrain ribbon, dazzling diamonds

Stamping Classes

Hi everyone,

I have two really great classes coming up in the next month.

First, the Big Shot class is a go! It will be held on Thursday, February 26th at 6pm at 100 Roehampton Ave apt 807- it is at Yonge and Eglinton one block north of Eglinton. This is the first of the 4 monthly classes and will be $15 dollars. If in the end you choose to buy the Big Shot I will deduct the money of the classes from the $160 that I was asking for all 4 classes plus Big Shot. I understand that quite a few of you would like to see the machine first and this is what this is for. You will learn how to use the machine with various materials to make quite a few different fantastic projects. If you would like more information please let me know.

And second- I will be holding an advanced techniques class on Sunday, March 8th at 1pm at my condo. We will be making 3 absolutely amazing projects that I learned at the Megameeting this weekend. I am sooo excited for this class- I was thrilled when I learned how to do them and can't wait to do them with you. This class will cost $15 and I guarantee that you will love these projects.

Please RSVP for either class by February 20th. Hope to see you there!

197- Shaker Valentine

You are going to see quite a few cases in the next little while because I went to megameeting last week and was completely camera happy. I was so inspired and wanted to reproduce many of the cards. This one was demonstrated by a demo named Patricia Howell-Blackmore and I just loved the little shaker window. It's so cute!

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Love you much

Ink: Riding Hood Red

Paper: Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Candy Lane DSP

Accessories: Chunky Essentials glitter, acetate, sticky strip, 1/4" riding hood red taffeta ribbon, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, ticket corner punch

Shelina came over for stamp club and wanted to make a card for her nephew. She said his favorite show was the Backyardigans. I'm told the finished product does look like Pablo so mission accomplishesd

I went to a meeting last weekend and went home really excited to sponge and emboss resist. I made this card at one of my clubs to fulfill the CC203 colour challenge for the week. Unfortunately I did not use an embossing buddy so it is a bit messy- definitely will use it next time!

Ink: Pacific Point, Baha breeze, garden green

Accessories: sponges, white embossing
