This is my St Patrick's Day card for this year. I love how great the shamrock looks using the heart punch. I made a similar card last year but this one was definitely a 2.0 version. I used on of the a la carte layouts from the Stampin Success magazine.
I wanted there to be a pattern on the three strips of glorious green. I used the whisper white craft ink and wheeled on a pattern because I don't have any DSP in that colour. I then embossed the same pattern in white on textured Glorious Green cardstock so it would really pop.
Unfortunately I don't have a St. Patrick's day stamp but I thought that celebrate was appropriate as that's what we all do on this day!!! You could also use an invitation stamp as this would be perfect as an invitation to a St. Patty's day party.
I rarely seem to use the bold brights and have hardly used the greens from the series. I'm happy I used it and really have to try to not always stamp in the same colours.
