304- Manhattan Sympathy Card
This was a hard colour challenge (Splitcoast color challenge CC238) for me- I'm not great with pastels and have never been the biggest fan of gray. Just using it for the ink I think really works- it is softer than using black when using soft subtles. I do like the finished product but next time I would probably use DSP for the manhattan flowers just to soften the whole thing up.
It's hard to see but I stamped a Fifth Avenue Floral image behind the sentiment to give it a bit more dimension. I also added dazzling diamonds in the centre of the embossed flowers.
I decided after I posted this that it needed something more. I decided to use the shimmer paint on the embossed edges to give it some shine- LOVE IT! It's super easy to apply with a little paint brush. I hope you can see the effect- it looks amazing. I highly recommend the shimmer paint- it's in the mini occasions catalogue
