273- Congratulations

I made this card for Marni Shelson, a member of my downline who was resently promoted to Senior Associate. She also got engaged so it's a double congratulations of sorts! Pink is her signature colour so I had to make sure to use it here. This card was made using Baha Breeze and Pink Pirouette- I really miss last year's in colours.
I used glossy white paper and reinkers to make the background. You cut two pieces of the glossy white and put a few drops of reinker in each colour on one piece. you then smush the two pieces together and roll a brayer on top to smooth them together. This will spread out the ink- it will need to dry for about 20 minutes or you can use your heat tool to dry it.
I also died the flower using a technique that was demonstrated at the Regional meeting. You punch out a circle and lay it on your ink pad. Place a flower from the pretties kit on this circle so that it is in the center of the flower. Then use your dauber to push the petals in the ink and die them. You can then put it in the other colour of ink and push it down where the circle had been to die it.
